THE UPCOMING SMARTPHONES

  MOST EXPECTED PHONES OF 2019.

1. SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 9.

The press invite shows the close-up shot of the button on the new S Pen, suggesting that the Note series’ signature stylus will get some major upgrades. Reports have suggested that the S Pen will be one of the key features of the Note series and Samsung’s invitation clears any doubts.
The focus on the button is interesting as it could indicate that Samsung is adding more functionality to this key. Or it could also be a fingerprint sensor embedded in the S Pen.
A few weeks ago, alleged CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Note 9 surfaced, which suggested it will pack dual rear cameras and will have a similar design to its predecessor, with a 6.3-inch display.

As far as specs go, rumors suggest that the Note 9 will be powered by an Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6 gigs of RAM and up to 256GB storage, and a 3,850mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Samsung has already confirmed that the next version of its AI-powered voice assistant, Bixby 2.0, will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 9 at the event. The Korean company is also expected to unveil the Gear S4 smartwatch and a new tablet in the Galaxy Tab S series at the event. The Galaxy Unpacked event kicks off at 11:00 am E.T. (8:30 pm IST) and will be live-streamed here.

2. THE IPHONE LINE UP OF 2019.
                           Image result for iphone leaks
The company plans to introduce three new models later this year which may include a considerably larger version of the iPhone X -- the iPhone X Plus, perhaps -- as well as a significantly less expensive version. It's worth noting that price hasn't been a major obstacle for the premium flagship so far; though it's the priciest iPhone ever at $999, £999 or AU$1,579, the iPhone X was the best-selling phone for the first three months of 2018, followed by the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Of course, a less expensive version would almost certainly broaden its addressable market. Six months after the iPhone X's release, however, the phone has lost a bit of its initial sheen. In addition to refining the designs and adding in some new features, Apple is likely to deliver the annual enhancements we've come to expect -- new build materials and colors, a bump in processing speeds, higher screen resolution and tweaks to extend battery life.
Meanwhile, the Android world continues to react and respond to the iPhone X. At its I/O event in May, Google showed off the new gesture-based interface at the center of its new Android P operating system. (For what it's worth, Google says it started working on the new navigation before the debut of the iPhone X.) And then there's Samsung's AR emoji and Intelligent Scan features -- lesser versions of the iPhone's Animoji and Face ID that don't quite measure up to the originals.
Though we're likely four months out from seeing the next iPhone (and don't have any proof as to what its features will be), the rumor mill is already creating a compelling picture of what's to come. We'll continue to update this page with news and leaks as we begin our countdown to the 2018 Apple iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone X2, iPhone 11 or whatever the next generation may be called.
Likely: September 2018 announcement and release date
Apple hasn't officially announced when we'll see the next phone. But the timing for this annual ritual has now hardened into a reliable tradition. After launching the first few iPhones in June, Apple shifted to the early September time frame with the iPhone 5 in 2012 and, apart from the off-cycle iPhone SE, has stuck to it since. No reason to expect this to change in 2018.Rumor: It could be called the iPhone 11, iPhone X Plus, or the iPhone X2 -- but probably not the iPhone 9
According to some analysts, Apple may revert to its "S" series nomenclature, giving us an iPhone XS (perhaps a fitting homophone to "excess") and XS Plus or perhaps the numeric equivalent, with the X2.
That noted, there are some very rich design opportunities with the two ones of an iPhone 11. And then there's the possibility of Apple doing away with numbers entirely -- at least for the lower-end, non-X model -- similar to the company's approach with its entry-level tablet, which is now just the "new iPad" every year. Regardless, we do believe that Apple effectively killed the iPhone 9 when it brought out the iPhone X alongside the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in September.

 3. GOOGLE PIXEL 3&3XL

Google is preparing to launch its 2018 flagships, usually debuting in early October. Yet we don't have to wait another three months to know what they'll look like as some renders filled us in today. .

The images and video confirm that the Google Pixel 3 will have a normal forehead, while the Pixel 3XL variant will implement the infamous notch.
Both phones are also pictured with only one camera on the back, suggesting Google is still not joining the trend of dual and triple cameras.
The Google Pixel 3 will measure 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm. It is expected to have a 5.4” screen with tall 18:9 ratio. There are three holes next to the earpiece, most likely for a camera, proximity sensor and LED notification light, although it might also be a dual selfie setup.
The Google Pixel 3 XL will stand at 158 x 76.76 x 7.9 mm, but along with the camera bump the thickness goes up to 8.6 mm. The screen will measure 6.2” in diagonal and the notch between the so-called “horns” will house the very same camera and sensor as the Pixel 3.
Both phones are expected to come with Snapdragon 845 chipset and Android P out of the box. Last year’s Pixel 2 series had an OLED panel on both devices, so its safe to assume the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will use the same type of screens.
Both the inaugural Pixel and the Pixel 2 series were announced on October 4, so you better save the date for the Pixel 3 launch as well.Another minor difference Hemmerstoffer has revealed is Google will move the new Pixel’s sim trays from the side to the bottom edge alongside the USB-C port. Why is unknown, though with these new renders revealing Google will retain the excellent dual front-firing speakers on both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL despite their shrunken bezels, it may be the move was necessary due to internal space constraints.

Also being retained are the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL’s glass and metal backs. Earlier leaks claimed Google would switch to all-glass backs so it could add wireless charging - a controversial move given it adds an increasingly popular feature but at the expense of durability. It remains to be seen whether Google can still squeeze wireless charging into the new models’ tiny glass panel.A further bone of contention Hemmerstoffer’s renders expose is the single rear camera. While the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL still take the best photos of any smartphone with just a single camera, and the new Pixels have intriguing dual front cameras, the lack of an optical zoom will be heavily criticised if both it and wireless charging are omitted.

Why? Because Google is expected to hike Pixel prices again this year so matching the core features of rivals will be the minimum expected. Especially as Apple will conversely slash prices of its new iPhone X range when it launches later in the year.

Needless to say, Google’s computational genius should mean the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL (like their predecessors) add up to more than the sum of their parts. But if not, the pressure on Google’s mysterious new mid-range Pixel will skyrocket…
