iOS 12 PROVES TO BE MORE STRONGER THAN ANY ANDROID DEVICE IN 2018

ITS BETTER TO INVEST IN AN iOS DEVICE THAN ANDROID.

Apple announced iOS 12 for the iPhone and iPad at WWDC 2018 earlier this week and even though the improvements in the operating system aren't revolutionary, they still work on different iPhone models. Now before Android keyboard warriors lash out at this statement, there's one thing every Android users will agree, OS updates on Android sucks. This statement is even more true for smartphones that are older than 3 years or more which forces users to upgrade their smartphone regularly.

iOS 12 Proves It Is Sensible To Invest In An iPhone
For example, the iPhone 5S was launched 5 years ago with iOS 7 and even though the smartphone has been discontinued, it continues to get the latest firmware and OS update today. The same can't be said about an Android smartphone that was purchased in 2013. The Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched in the same year that is yet to receive the Android 6.0 update and chances of Android P running on the device looks impossible.
The adoption of latest Android software on older devices is abysmal, some 6% of all Android smartphones are currently using Android 8.0 Oreo. This is not our number, this is according to Google's data fetched from the official Play Store. Compare that to iOS devices, over 80-percent of Apple's products that use the operating system installed iOS 11. That's a giant number. Granted that the iPhone 5s will not deliver the same experience as a brand new phone, but the fact that it has the same UI as the iPhone X is not a small feat. A feature that cannot be achieved by most old Android smartphones.
The reason why this is important is that customers spend a lot of money on smartphones, especially if you invest in a flagship device. As customers, we expect the smartphone to get regular updates that will make it work with optimum performance with the latest operating system. Android users can get the same experience if they purchase the Pixel smartphones; however, people who own smartphones from other companies are often left behind.
I love Android smartphones for bringing groundbreaking features to the latest smartphones. Some features help in multi-tasking while others improve the overall experience. Android tends to bring sensible features first which is later adopted by Apple. However, not all of them make way to smartphones that are even a year older than the latest generation. It would be nice to see these features make an appearance on older Android smartphones too. Not everyone can afford to buy a smartphone every year to get all the latest features. This is one area where Apple excels and makes sure older devices get the same experience that is coming on latest devices — as long as the hardware can support it.
Apart from features, new OS also adds additional security features that can affect your privacy. As of now, older Android devices are vulnerable to security threats as these smartphones have not received the latest version of Android. Due to the lack of an updated Android operating system, many new apps can't be used on the smartphone as these apps often don't support older firmware. Now public BETA of iOS12 is out so you people can try it. iOS12 is just amazing.
